Handmade copper bracelet with overlapping discs
Some pieces make you pause the moment you put them on, and this is one of them. I made this bracelet for people who need to keep moving. Each scale is individually shaped by hand and overlaps the next in sequence, so the entire band is built one disc at a time, just as water shapes a coastline.
For thousands of years, people have worn copper against their skin in the hope that it would keep their blood and body flowing. The customers who come back to me tell me the same thing: they stopped noticing the things they used to notice.
This is one of the last bracelets I will make before I close my workshop forever. I hope it finds the wrist that needs to keep moving.
